I am very busy journalbando.jpgorganiserbe you not them.jpgaugust diary.jpgsecret girl code

I don’t know about you, but I bloody love organisation.

This being the first September that I wasn’t provided with a (rather ugly yet extremely useful) school planner, I decided to purchase a mid-year diary that starts August 2016 and ends December 2017 –  it should therefore last me all through my gap year and into uni, if I decide to go next Autumn.

There’s something about writing down plans and visually seeing a week or month laid out in front of you that I find reassuring and motivating. It definitely helps me to keep on top of things like blogging and YouTube as I can squeeze in filming/editing days around work, socialising and other life plans.

Anyway, when I saw this one from Ban.do I knew straight away it was the one for me. It was £20 and I know you can get much cheaper ones, but I was so persuaded by the cuteness of it and the fact that it would be a year long investment that I chucked it into my ASOS basket and used student discount to justify my actions.

I have zero regrets.

There is something lovely to look at on each and every page. There are stickers to jazz up your schedule. There is even a secret code tucked away in a little pouch at the back! (Granted, I probs won’t use this as I’m a lazy and boring but it’s cute anyway).

Obvs its also practical. I specifically wanted a diary with both a monthly and weekly layout and enough space to write multiple plans in each day (because I’m constantly being sociable… duh) This definitely ticks all the boxes I needed it to tick, and it ticks them in a magical gold glitter gel pen because it’s just fab.

Okay, so maybe the cover is a little pretentious, but I can live with that.

Do you use a diary to keep on top of life or do you just go with the flow? Let me know in the comments :)

Love Izzy x

(HERE is a link to where I bought my journal, I know they also sell them in John Lewis and I’m sure many other places!)
